Dan's 1st Date

30 April 1998

Today me and Musty went on our first date. I thought of romancing her by taking her to a Vale match or serious fun with a lazer gun at quazer, but they were both closed so we went to the circus. It was really exciting, there were lots of big animals there and people trying to walk on high wires, there was also some men who kept breathing fire out of there mouths, this reminded me of the time I put curry powder on me dinner instead of pepper, but thats another story. At one point I got so excited that I needed to go for a wee, but whilst I was in the toilets I heard a big roar right behind me, followed by a terrible smell, at first I thought it was Musty so I turned around with my trousers round my legs and my willy out, but it was a Lion! it must have escaped! But as I stood there half naked the Lion seemed to back off, make a whimpering sound, and then run as fast as it could in the opposite direction! I must have given it my angry face. Musty was glad I was ok, I think she really likes me. We were walking down by the river when Musty said "Look at that beautiful wood over there" I did not know what she was on about though, there were too many trees in the way. She asked me if I spoke any French, only if it is in Irish I said. She laughed so I think she finds me funny. Anyway got to go now me dinners ready.
